Three phase asynchronous motors are widely used and are inevitably prone to malfunctions due to various factors. They require timely maintenance and repair. The editor will tell you the precautions to be taken when disassembling and assembling three-phase asynchronous motors.
Before disassembling a three-phase asynchronous motor, it is necessary to first understand the nameplate of the motor and familiarize oneself with its basic structure. Then, make preparations before disassembling the motor (this is a very important step in the process of disassembling an asynchronous motor). To have a clear understanding and not blindly take action.
To ensure the quality of maintenance, markings and records should be made on the motor terminals, end caps, etc. before disassembly, so that the motor can be restored to its original state after assembly.
Incorrect disassembly is likely to damage parts or windings, even expand the fault, increase the difficulty of repair, and cause unnecessary losses.
To correctly master the use of disassembly tools and instruments, such as hammers, copper bars, pulls, wrenches, megohmmeters, multimeters, etc.
The assembly sequence after repairing a three-phase asynchronous motor is roughly opposite to that during disassembly.
When assembling, pay attention to some markings during disassembly and try to reset them according to the original markings.
To master the safety operation regulations, it is necessary to provide education on the safe use regulations of electrical equipment, the safety operation regulations of fitters, and relevant experience in fire and explosion prevention to ensure the safe and smooth completion of skill training and the safety of personnel, equipment, and property.
Special attention should be paid to the requirements for disassembling and assembling the electric motor installed on the equipment:
1. Cut off the power supply first, remove the connection between the motor and the three-phase power line, and mark the phase sequence and insulation treatment of the power line;
2. When disassembling the connection between the motor and the machine base, pulley, and coupling, make corresponding positioning marks first to ensure the safe separation of the motor from the main equipment;
3. The loosening and tightening of the end cap screws must be rotated diagonally up, down, left, and right in sequence;
4. The rotor of a large electric motor should be balanced with a steel wire rope, and a wooden pad should be laid on the ground. When slowly moving the rotor out, care should be taken to push and connect it at the same time to prevent scratching the stator winding and rotor winding;
5. Disassemble, clean, inspect, and replace the fan cover, fan blades, end caps, bearings, and rotor in sequence.
